European markets drop weighed by Banks; Dollar walks at a strong pace
FXstreet.com − European markets are going through losses on Monday as investor's trust on Banking has weakened after Geithner's observing that some banks might need further governmental aid. Eurostoxx 50 is dropping about 3.50% by midday in Europe, while German DAX Index loses 3.52% and French CAC slides 2.84%. The Dollar continues its rally against Euro and Pound.
The Dollar and the Yen rise on GM bankruptcy rumours by FXstreet.com
The yen and the dollar rose against the euro after an Obama administration official said bankruptcy may be the best option for General Motors Corp. and Chrysler LLC, spurring investors to seek the shelter of the two currencies.
The Pound bounces at 1.4110; testing 1.4160 level by FXTechstrategy
Decline from 1.4295 high on Asian session has reached its lowest level at 1.4110 so far, and the Pound is attempting to post a recovery above 1.4160 (19 Mar low).

EMU economic indicators - German adjusted unemployment (March): sharp rise by BHF−Bank
In general, German unadjusted unemployment declines noticeably after the winter months, but this March, due to the recession and unusually cold temperatures having a dampening effect on outdoor jobs, we only expect a slight decrease. Thus adjusted unemployment could have risen by about 50,000 in March.

Business and consumer confidence in the 16 countries that use the euro weakened further to reach a record low in March as new orders continued to dry up and concerns about job losses mounted.
