The Euro has failed to hold above the 1.2800/15 support
E−Forex − The Euro has failed to hold above the 1.2800/15 support on Friday and collapsed, testing bids at 1.2620 earlier today. Downside is favored now and first important resistance is seen at 1.2810, interim resistance being formed at 1.2700 and 1.2750. Support starts at 1.2620 backed by 1.2565 and 1.2500. Daily momentum is slightly bearish due to the decline below the 1.28 mark. Intraday studies are mixed at the time of this writing. Current quote is 1.2697

We saw the Yen make some gains versus the US Dollar. USD/JPY opened near its highs of 95.53, but did not reside long at that locale as we quickly saw the pair slip to 95.15 lows before getting some stability at the 95.30 area.
Forex Trading Strategies − Chinese manufacturing PMI nosedives in November by Saxo Bank
AUDUSD has held convincingly below its 21 day moving average and has just broken to a new three−day low overnight on the Chinese manufacturing PMI.

Friday Notes - UK PMI: Manufacturing... by HVB Group
Following a small increase in October – which was not totally surprising after the sizeable plunge seen in September − UK manufacturing PMI should resume sliding in November: we expect the headline index to decline to 40.7.

German retail sales unexpectedly fall in October (Thomson Financial News)
German retail sales unexpectedly fell by 1.6 percent month−on−month in real terms in October, Federal Statistics Office data showed on Monday. The seasonally adjusted fall compared with the consensus forecast of a Reuters poll of economists last week for a rise of 0.5 percent on the month.
