Currency Majors Technical Analysis − 1,7317. There is an horizontal range between 1,7140 and 1,7390 by Mataf.net

1,7317. There is an horizontal range between 1,7140 and 1,7390. Support and resistance are given by Bollinger bands. GBP USD moves without trend and swings around exponential moving averages (EMA 50 and 100). Bollinger bands are flat. ForexTrend 4H, daily (Mataf Trend Indicator) is in a bearish configuration. The price should continue to move in Bollinger bands. If the support is broken then the target will be 1,6900 (417 pips).
We are waiting for a break of the support to take a short position.

NAHB: US Home Builders Confidence Drops in October (Dow Jones)

Home builders' bad mood darkened in October, with financial market turmoil sending their confidence down further. The National Association of Home Builders released results Thursday of a monthly survey of builders' thoughts on market prospects. Its latest, October index for sales of new, single−family homes tumbled to 14 from a downwardly revised 17 in September. Originally, NAHB gave a September reading of 18.
