Daily Recommended Trades − Daily Technical Outlook − Thursday 09.25.2008 by E−Forex Team

The Euro dipped as low as 1.4603 on yesterday, before pushing above the 1.47 mark to 1.4730 overnight. Intraday resistance is seen at 1.4740/50 followed by 1.4800 and 1.4860. Current gains may extend towards the 1.4860 region during the upcoming sessions as the upside remains favored for now. On the downside, support starts at 1.4690 backed by 1.4600/20 and 1.4540/50. The hourly studies are bullish at the time of this writing. Current quote is 1.4729 @06:27 GMT

EMU economic indicators - M3 growth (July): slowed to 9% yoy by BHF−Bank

In view of high short−term interest rates increasing economic uncertainty, flows into time deposits are expected to have remained strong in August. However, other components of M3 (e.g. overnight and saving deposits, money market funds) are increasing only moderately, if at all. M3 growth is therefore likely to have slowed further, to about 9.0% yoy in August, down from 9.3 % in July.

Japan logs trade deficit of 324.0 bln yen in Aug (Thomson Financial News)

Japan logged a trade deficit of 324.0 billion yen ($3.06 billion) in August, Ministry of Finance data showed on Thursday. That compared with economists' median forecast of a trade deficit of 400 billion yen.
