Daily Recommended Trades − Daily Technical Outlook − Monday 09.22.2008 by E−Forex

The Euro is stronger and it recovered some of its recent losses on Friday, after an impressive rally of 340 points. Strong resistance is formed into the 1.4570 region and a potential break should open 1.49/1.5. The short term studies are bullish while holding above 1.43. Minor support is seen at 1.4470 backed by 1.4390, 1.4350 and 1.4300. Resistance starts at 1.4500 followed by 1.4570 and 1.4650. Current quote is 1.4480 @06:45 GMT

BOJ Aug meeting: US stagnation could be prolonged (Thomson Financial News)

U.S. economic stagnation could be prolonged due to a further slide in housing prices and because of banks' lending attitude and slowing global growth, some members of the Bank of Japan's policy board said at a meeting last month, minutes showed on Monday. "Some members said attention should be paid to possible further losses that U.S. financial institutions could incur," the minutes of the central bank's Aug. 18−19 meeting showed.
