Forex Trading Strategies − USD weakens late yesterday on renewed mortgage woes by Saxo Bank

EURJPY rose to a new record recently, but failed to find increasing momentum there. From a fundamental perspective, both in terms of interest rate differentials and risk aversion, this cross should be headed lower, but needs to take out another couple of support levels before it shows more decisive signs of negative momentum. The rising trendline seems to be the most significant support and could come into play soon as a trigger.

Japan June M2 Money Supply +2.3% Vs May +2.1% (Dow Jones)

Japan's M2 gauge for money supply increased by 2.3% in June, at a faster pace than May's 2.1% growth, the Bank of Japan said Tuesday. The change in M2, which consists of cash in circulation and bank deposits, was slightly faster than the 2.1% median growth forecast by economists surveyed by Dow Jones and Nikkei News.
