Forex Analysis on Majors − Euro looks for ZEW index by Forex Ltd

We assume a possibility of test of the nearest supports 1.0480/1.0500, where it is recommended to evaluate the activity development according to the charts of shorter time interval. For short−term buyers' positions on condition of formation of topping signals the targets will be 1.0540/60, 1.0600/20 and/or further breakout variant up to 1.0660/80, 1.0700/20. An alternative for sales will be below 1.0460 with the targets 1.0400/20, 1.0360/80.

EMU economic indicators - German ZEW economic sentiment is likely to have remained unchanged in May by BHF−Bank

In May, the German ZEW economic sentiment and the German ifo business climate index are likely to have remained more or less stable, given that they had plummeted in April. Most of the correlated ifo indicators have deteriorated, but the US ISM manufacturing index has stabilized recently.

Bank of Japan leaves overnight call rate target unchanged at 0.5 percent (Thomson Financial News)

The Bank of Japan left its overnight call rate target unchanged at 0.5 percent for the 18th straight meeting on Tuesday, as widely expected. The central bank wants more time to assess whether the U.S. economy, one of Japan's most important trading partners, can avoid the risk of a recession posed by the credit crisis and the slumping housing market.
