Daily Recommended Trades − The upside was limited into the 1.5970−1.6 by E−Forex
The upside was limited into the 1.5970−1.6 zone on yesterday and the Euro pulled back after setting a fresh record high at 1.5982. As I mentioned on yesterday's report, a catalyst is needed in order to push the Euro higher past 1.6 and it doesn't seem that such catalyst exists on the near term so more rangebound action is expected between 1.6 and 1.5750 where major support is formed by daily studies

The Sterling (GBP) surged against the major currencies on Thursday as speculation the BoE next week will announce a plan to allow banks to swap mortgages for Government bonds for periods of 1−3 years to increase liquidity.

DATA SNAP: German March PPI +0.7% On Mo, +4.2% On Yr (Dow Jones)
German producer prices rose faster than expected in March, driven by a robust rise in energy prices, data from the Federal Statistics Office showed Friday. The producer price index, which measures prices at the factory gate, rose 0.7% on the month and 4.2% on the year, the statistics office, or Destatis said.

Australian Import Price Index +2.7% In 1Q Vs 4Q (Dow Jones)
A price index of Australian imports rose 2.7% in the first quarter of 2008 from the fourth quarter 2007, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said Friday. The price index for exports rose 3.5% in the first quarter from the fourth quarter.
