Daily Recommended Trades − Euro managed to break the key resistance at 1.5800 by E−Forex

The Euro managed to break the key resistance at 1.5800 on yesterday and it is now consolidating its gains around the 1.5840 mark. It is obvious that the dollar is weaker than before as the Euro consolidates so close to the record high at 1.5905, therefore we are looking forward for the Euro to extend its gains past 1.59 and test 1.6 once consolidation is over.

Thursday 10 brings BOE and ECB to the stage. The BoE is expected to cut rates at least 25bp from its actual 5.25%, even more now that the Pound (GBP) edged down on a weaker housing report. On the other hand, ECB is expected to keep rates on hold at 4%, following the wait−and−see trend that has acquired in the last months.

DATA SNAP: Australian Mar Unemployment Rate 4.1% (Dow Jones)

Australia's unemployment rate rose to an as−expected seasonally adjusted 4.1% in March from 4.0% in February. The number of employed rose 14,800, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said Thursday. Economists on average had expected an unemployment rate of 4.1% in March, with the number of employed up 10,000.

Japan Feb Unadjusted Curr Acct Surplus Up 2.9% On Yr (Dow Jones)

Japan's current account surplus expanded for the second straight month in February, rising 2.9% from a year earlier, the Finance Ministry said Thursday, indicating net trade may support the economy in the first quarter.
