Cable's recovery was limited at 1.9979 and dives again into European session. At this point, intraday bias remains on the downside as long as 1.9979 minor resistance holds. As discussed before, with 4 hours MACD staying below signal line, further decline is expected to retest 1.9736 support.

Friday Notes - Lessons from prior banking crises by HVB Group
We expect inflation to accelerate to 3.4% in March. Upward pressure should come from food – on a steadily rising trend − and energy, likely pushed higher by the jump that took oil prices to USD 110 pb. We have penciled in a moderate increase in core inflation too, given the fading of the positive base effect related to the German VAT hike and the possible impact of the early Easter.

Japan Feb Housing Starts Down 5.0% On Year (Dow Jones)
Japan's housing starts fell 5.0% in February from a year earlier to 82,962 units, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said Monday. The decline was larger than the 1.0% drop forecast by a Dow Jones/Nikkei poll of economists. That was the eighth consecutive month of falls after orders dropped 5.7% in January and 19.2% in December.

Japan Feb Indus Output −1.2% On Month; Mkt Expected − 2.2% (Dow Jones)
Japanese industrial output fell 1.2% on month in February, for the second consecutive month of falls, the government said Monday. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires and Nikkei estimated on average that industrial production had fallen 2.2% in February after adjustment for seasonal factors. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry left its assessment of industrial output unchanged at "flat" for the third straight month.
