Weekly Forex Market Commentary − The US fixed−income markets are closed on Monday for the Presidents' Day by Global Forex Trading
Sterling/dollar recovered for five straight days but then buckled on Friday and the pair got stuck in an inside range. It formed a short−term bearish reversal and Monday should be a down day. Immediate support is now seen at 1.9545. The next level follows at 1.9497. Below 1.9385 there is a pivotal low at 1.9338.Distant support moved down to 1.9103.

DATA SNAP: UK House Asking Price Rebounds In Feb − Rightmove (Dow Jones)
The average asking price for a home in the U.K. rebounded in February on seasonal factors and signs that the recently introduced rules may be deterring sellers and underpinning prices, online estate agent Rightmove said Monday. The average asking price for a home in mid−February rose 3.2% on the month and 5.8% on the year, it said.

Japan's tertiary index down 0.6 percent in December on lower financial spending (Thomson Financial News)
Japan's tertiary index, which measures spending in the services sector, fell 0.6 percent in December from November due to to lower spending on financial and insurance services, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said Monday.
