Comment: Consolidating in the middle of the large ‘triangle' consolidation pattern. Expect more random moves roughly between 1.4600 and 1.4800 again today.
Strategy: Buy at 1.4675, adding to 1.4600; stop below 1.4550. Add to longs on a sustained break above 1.4800 for 1.4850 and then 1.4900

EMU economic indicators - M3 growth probably accelerated to 12.3% yoy in November by BHF−Bank
M3 growth in the euro area probably remained strong in December. In general, the yield curve has been flat or even inverted, thus offering little incentive for longer term investments. In December, banks were especially eager to attract funds to strengthen liquidity at year−end.

Japan Dec Corp Svc Prices Flat On Mo, +1.4% On Yr (Dow Jones)
The Bank of Japan's corporate service price index for December was 94.8, unchanged from November and up 1.4% from a year earlier, the central bank said Monday. This marked the 17th straight month of on−year growth for the CSPI and was in line with expectations by economists. The pace of on−year rise for December matched a 1.4% increase for November.
