Japan's industrial output up 1.7 percent in October, better than initial reading (Thomson Financial News)
Japan's industrial output rose a seasonally−adjusted 1.7 percent in October from September, faster than the initial estimate of a 1.6 percent increase, according to data released by the government on Thursday. Shipments rose 2.4 percent in October compared to the preliminary reading of a 2.1 percent rise, said the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

DATA SNAP: Australian Nov Unemployment Rate 4.5% (Dow Jones)
Australia's unemployment rate rose to a worse−than−expected seasonally adjusted 4.5% in November from 4.4% in October. The number of employed rose 52,600, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said Thursday. Economists on average had expected an unemployment rate of 4.3% in November, with the number of employed up 20,000.
