Daily Market Commentary − The dollar slipped versus the euro and the pound by Global Forex Trading
Sterling/dollar rallied on Monday following the UK inflation report. It should now consolidate ahead of the Fed report. Immediate resistance is still seen at 2.0505. The next level is at 2.0585. Distant resistance comes at 2.0833. Initial support is now seen at 2.0430. Below 2.0340, there is distant support at 2.0183.

Japan Govt: Consumer Sentiment Worsened In Nov To 4−Year Low (Dow Jones)
Consumer sentiment in Japan worsened to a four−year low in November, the government said Tuesday. The index for the Cabinet Office's consumer confidence survey, which measures consumers' economic outlook for the coming six months, deteriorated for the second straight month to 39.8 in November. That is the most pessimistic reading since December 2003, when the index stood at 39.2.

Australia's Nov business confidence index down 3 points from Oct − NAB − UPDATE (Thomson Financial News)
National Australia Bank Ltd said Tuesday its business confidence index fell 3.0 points to a reading of 6.0 points in November from October. Confidence was eroded by rising interest rates and turmoil in global credit markets, it said.
