Daily Forex Technical Report − Consolidation Continues, a Busy Calendar ahead by ActionForex.com
Consolidations in the markets continue as dollar is bounded in established arrange majors. Yen continues to retreat on firm global stock market following DOW's over 200 pts rally. Little impact is seen from Japan retail sales which rose 0.8% yoy in Oct. The economic calendar is relatively busy today with Germany Gfk consumer confidence, Eurozone Money supply, Swiss KOF leading indicator, US durable goods and existing home sales featured.

EMU economic indicators - CPI inflation in Germany is likely to have accelerated to 2.8 % yoy in November by BHF−Bank
M3 growth in the euro area probably remained strong in October. As the credit crisis unfolded, banks only had limited access to funding from securities markets. For the same reason, loans earmarked for securitization had to be kept on banks' balance sheets, thus increasing the need for funding.

High food and energy prices, a strong euro and financial market turbulence have gnawed away at German consumer confidence, market research group GfK said Wednesday.

Japan Oct Overall Retail Sales Up 0.8% On Year (Dow Jones)
Japanese retail sales rose 0.8% in October from a year earlier, marking the third straight month of increases, the government said Wednesday. The result bodes well for consumer spending, which accounts for roughly 55% of Japan's gross domestic product.
