EUR/USD

Daily Market Commentary − The dollar slipped against the euro and franc but rallied versus the pound and the yen by Global Forex Trading

Euro/dollar challenged its record high before giving up some of the gains. After another recovery today the selloff should resume as the pair is overbought. Immediate resistance is at 1.4751. Above it, resistance is seen at 1.4835. Initial support is at 1.4590. This is followed by 1.4520 and 1.4470. Below 1.4415, euro/dollar has distant support comes at 1.4290.

Japan METI: Sep Tertiary Indus Activity −1.6% On Month (Dow Jones)

Japanese service sector activity fell a seasonally adjusted 1.6% on month in September, falling for the first time in two months, the government said Thursday. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said the index stood at 109.4 in September, following a revised 1.2% rise to 111.2 in August.
