The Euro has confirmed the intra−day support at 1.4590 on yesterday and recovered, especially during today's Asian session, getting past the 1.4630 resistance established on yesterday's EU session. Support is now seen at 1.4630 backed by 1.4590 and 1.4560.

EMU economic indicators - EMU GDP gained momentum in Q3 by BHF−Bank

German GDP growth probably accelerated to about 0.5% quarter−on−quarter in Q3 2007. Output in the producing sector increased as well as retail sales. On 14 November, Destatis (the German Federal Statistical Office) is publishing a "flash release" on German GDP; a detailed breakdown of the components will follow on 22 November.

DATA SNAP: German Economic Activity Strongly Rebounds In 3Q (Dow Jones)

German economic activity strongly rebounded in the third quarter on healthy investment in machinery, equipment and construction, data from the Federal Statistics Office showed Wednesday. On the quarter, real gross domestic product rose 0.7%, after increasing 0.3% in the second quarter.

Australia's Nov Westpac consumer sentiment index down 4.2 pct (Thomson Financial News)

The Westpac−Melbourne Institute Consumer Sentiment Index fell 4.2 percent to 110.5 in November from 115.3 in October following the central bank's decision to raise interest rates by a quarter percentage point last week, Westpac said Wednesday.
