Daily Forex Commentary − A light calendar ahead of the weekend by Jyske Bank

The USD weakened further during Thursday's European trading session and as a consequence EURUSD broke through 143 and tested the all time high. Fundamentally we still believe in a stronger USD but so far the 21−day moving average on EURUSD seems to provide a reasonable support.

Daily polling by the Rasmussen consumer survey shows a definite improvement in consumer sentiment during the past several days. If that is mirrored in the U of Michigan survey, as is often the case, the recent erosion of confidence will be partially reversed.
