EUR/USD Open 1.4131 High 1.4155 Low 1.4062 Close 1.4138.
In August the Euro made a correction, after which the upward trend renewed. In force remains the middle term upward channel with bottom limit 1.3447 and upper limit 1.4375.

We expect unadjusted German unemployment to have fallen markedly by about 125k in September, as the summer holidays are over in all Länder. Adjusted unemployment will probably have continued to decline by about 20k, but this would be only half the average of the first eight months.
