New historic high, but pair currently back in channel off 1.3358 (see graph), with daily Long Term daily channel top off 2005 low at 1.4000.
1st Support area at 1.3860/ .53 (daily envelope bottom/ daily Short Term Moving Average↑ + previous high), with next levels at 1.3837/ .23 (Short Term lows hourly), ahead of 1.3795 (break−up hourly).

Japan July industrial output falls 0.4 percent, unchanged from initial estimate (Thomson Financial News)
Japan's industrial output fell a seasonally adjusted 0.4 percent in July from June, in line with the initial estimate, according to latest data released by the government on Friday. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said shipments dropped 1.2 percent in July, also in line with the preliminary reading.
