Bank of Japan to hike rates slowly; sees risk in subprime problem − July minutes (Thomson Financial News)
The Bank of Japan's policy board reaffirmed in July that it should raise interest rates gradually in line with economic growth and the prospects for inflation, but expressed some concerns about the continued adjustments in the US housing market and the subprime loan problem, according to the minutes of the board's July 12−13 meeting released Tuesday.
