Daily Market Commentary − The FX markets enjoyed the second day of uneasy calm on Tuesday by Global Forex Trading Ltd.
As expected, dollar/yen's recovery on Monday didn't last long, as the pair fell on the day. Following an early mild recovery the sell−off should resume as the pair remains under the trendline rising since January 2005, now at 116.00. Initial support is at 114.20 from another 50−point pivot that targets 113.70 and 114.70. Below 113.25, support is at 112.90 from a 50−point pivot that targets 113.40 and 112.40.

EMU economic indicators - German ZEW economic sentiment is expected to plummet in August by BHF−Bank
In June, EMU industrial new orders are likely to have gained momentum, just like the corresponding German figure. As usual, the EMU trade balance and current account probably rebounded in June.

Japan July trade surplus falls 21.1 pct to 671.22 bln yen, 1st drop in 9 mths (Thomson Financial News)
Japan's merchandise trade surplus fell 21.1 percent from a year earlier to 671.22 billion yen in July, the Ministry of Finance said on Wednesday. This was the first time in nine months that Japan's custom−cleared trade surplus had dropped from the previous year's level.
