After reaching new historical top, the Euro stepped back from it, which makes it the first resistance for today at 1.3810, followed by 1.3877 and 1.3916. The support comes from the upwards trend passing by the bottoms 1.3264 and 1.3596, which break at 1.3688 will lead to test of 1.3605, which is a correction of 38.3% of the wave 1.3263 – 1.3814.

Friday Notes - Weathering the storm by HVB Group
After a strong reading in May, we expect UK industrial production to edge marginally down to 0.3% m-o-m in July, lifting the yearly rate of growth up to 1%. The low m-o-m reading should mainly reflect a weaker performance of the energy sector.

Japan Jun Leading Indicators 80.0; Coincident 77.8 (Dow Jones)
Japan's index of leading economic indicators stood at 80.0 in June, above the boom-or-bust threshold of 50 for the first time in eight months, the government said Monday, suggesting the economy may pick up pace in the coming months. The result was matched the expectations of economists surveyed by Dow Jones and Nikkei News. The index was at 40.9 in May and 18.2 in April.
