The dollar gained versus the Euro on yesterday, managing to get below the support levels at 1.3800 and 1.3760, reaching 1.3695 during the US session. Support is formed at 1.3700 backed by 1.3675 and 1.3600. Resistance is noticed at 1.3725 followed by 1.3760 and 1.3800.

New Zealand's central bank lifts interest rates 25 bps, signals pause (Thomson Financial News)

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand said Thursday it has raised its official cash rate (OCR) by 25 basis points to 8.25 percent but signalled that further increases may not be necessary. RBNZ governor Alan Bollard said New Zealanders have been showing early signs of moderating their borrowing. "Provided they keep this up, and the pressure on resources continues to ease, we think the four successive OCR increases we have delivered will be sufficient to contain inflation," Bollard said. The central bank raised the official cash rate in March, April and June by 25 basis points each time, after a 15-month pause, because of rising inflationary pressures.
