Yesterday's session has been quiet and the Euro ranged between 1.2795 and 1.3755 but things changed a bit during today's Asian session and the Euro rallied against the dollar, setting new record highs at 1.3830. Support is currently seen at 1.3800 backed by 1.3775 and 1.3760.

We do not expect today’s minutes from the latest monetary policy meeting in BoE to reveal anything that will surprise the market and hence we do not expect a further strengthening of GBP versus EUR in the short term.

Australia's Westpac May leading index up 6.1 pct year-on-year (Thomson Financial News)
The Westpac/Melbourne Institute leading index of economic activity, which indicates the likely pace of economic activity 3-9 months into the future, rose 6.1 pct year-on-year in May, having risen by 6.8 pct over the year to April, Westpac Banking Corp said. It said the growth rate for April was above the long-term trend of 4.4 pct and had slowed from its peak of 7.4 percent in February.
