Forex Technical Report - Forex Technical Report EUR/USD by iFOREX.bg
After reaching new historical top, the Euro stepped back from it, which makes it the first resistance for today at 1.3812, followed by 1.3879 and 1.3918. The support comes from the upwards trend passing by the bottoms 1.3264 and 1.3596, which break at 1.3687 will lead to test of 1.3604, which is a correction of 38.3% of the wave 1.3263 – 1.3814.

For June, we expect headline inflation to be confirmed at 1.9% (in line with the flash estimate), thus being unchanged from the month before. Core inflation should also have held steady at 1.9%. But in July and August, the headline rate is set to accelerate significantly due to rising oil & energy prices until the end of Q3.

German inflation increases 0.1% in June and 1.8% on the year (FXstreet.com)
Consumer Prices Index has risen in Germany in June according to the preliminary estimation, 0.1% from May, and 1.8% from June last year, as the latest report from Destatis shows. By products, seasonal vegetables moderated their prices, helping to keep CPI lower, while energy costs rose 2.2% on the year, pushed by a 6.2% rise on power prices.
