Little to add as we consolidate just under the all-time high at 1.3670/1.3683 and interesting how limited recent downside probes have been. Sooner or later we expect new records to be set and potentially big moves in uncharted territory. The Euro is slightly overbought.

UK retail sales register best performance of second quarter in June - BRC (Thomson Financial News)

UK retail sales registered their best performance of the second quarter in June, weathering the recent rises in borrowing costs as some clearance sales got to off to an early start. The British Retail Consortium reported that like-for-like sales, which strip out changes in floor space, rose by 3.0 pct in June from the previous year.
