EUR/USD Open 1.3455 High 1.3476 Low 1.3416 Close 1.3448.
Trading yesterday was quiet and the Euro was trading in the range 1.3418 - 1.3454 US Dollars. This morning the currency pair was exchanging at levels 1.3449 - 1.3466.

Friday Notes - US Q2 growth bouncing back by HVB Group

Persistently brisk corporate investment activity also points to a decline in unemployment in the further course of the year. In June, the positive growth effect should have seen the nsa number decline slightly more strongly than normal for this time of the year (-68k). Hence, we also expect a decline in the sa number.

DATA SNAP: UK June House Prices +1.1%MM, +11.1%YY (Dow Jones)

U.K. house prices surged in June, adding to expectations that the Bank of England will raise rates to 6% before the end of the year, the Nationwide Building Society said Thursday. According to the mortgage lender, June house prices were up a seasonally adjusted 1.1% from May, which was the largest monthly increase in 2007 so far.

DATA SNAP:Japan May Indus Output -0.4% On Mo;Expected +0.8% (Dow Jones)

Japanese industrial output fell 0.4% in May from April, marking the third straight month of declines, the government said Thursday. The result was much worse than the average forecast of economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires and Nikkei News for a 0.8% increase after adjustment for seasonal factors.
