The drop off 1.3683 is toying back with the LT daily Downtrenline off 1992 (synthetic charts: 1.3460 today). Medium Term outlook for € positive while above 1.3310 (broken monthly Downtrendline off 1992 on same charts).

German Q1 final GDP growth 0.5 pct vs Q4; confirms preliminary UPDATE (AFX News)
German GDP grew 0.5 pct in seasonally, price and calendar-adjusted terms in the first quarter compared with the fourth quarter of last year, according to final figures from the Federal Statistics Office. The announcement confirmed preliminary data released on May 15.

Overnight Briefing: Far East Timezone - Japan exports to US dips by Jyske Bank
Japanese exports to the United States in April fell from a year earlier for the first time in 27 months, but strong shipments to Asia offset the drop, helping push Japan's trade surplus up more than 50 %.
