New year high, with move above 1.3310 (monthly Downtrendline off 1992 on synthetic charts) and above 1.3468 (LT daily Downtrenline off 1992 on same charts): positive Medium Term outlook for € while above. Currently back in channel off 1.2877, with threat of Triple Top off 1.3585 (see graph: risk would be towards 1.3503/ .3487).

DATA SNAP: Australia Mar Trade Deficit A$1.62B (Dow Jones)
Australia's seasonally adjusted balance on trade in goods and services widened to a deficit of A$1.62 billion in March from a deficit of A$728 million in February, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said Friday. The figure is wider than analysts' expectations of a deficit of A$975 million.
