Australia Q1 producer price index steady on Q4 UPDATE (AFX News)
The final producer price index (PPI) for commodities, excluding exports, was unchanged in the March quarter from the December quarter, with a 0.1 pct increase in the domestic index but a 1.1 pct fall in the imports component, the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) said. The March quarter PPI was up 2.8 pct year-on-year.
