DATA SNAP: US Feb Factory Orders Up Less Than Expected (Dow Jones)
Factory orders rebounded somewhat in February after a sharp drop the month before, but the narrow gain was smaller than expected and carried by strong aircraft demand. Factory-goods orders increased by 1.0%, after falling 5.7% during January, the Commerce Department said Wednesday. January orders were originally seen dropping 5.6%.

Service industry expands at slower rate (AFX News)
The U.S. service sector expanded at a slower rate in March than in the previous month, a trade group said Thursday, reflecting the sluggish growth of the U.S. economy. The Tempe, Arizona-based Institute for Supply Management, an organization of corporate purchasing executives, said that its index of business activity in the non-manufacturing sector registered 52.4 in March, down from 54.3 in February.
