EUR/JPY's fall from 155.72 continues today, reaching as low as 152.64 so far. At this point, intraday bias remains on the downside and further decline is still expected towards 152.23 support. Firm break of 152.23 will argues that the sharp fall from 159.63 has resumed with a retest of 150.75 low first.

Friday Notes - Correction, not a trend reversal by HVB Group
In February, we expect the mild downward trend in unemployment to continue, as employment growth remains on a strong footing and the labor supply is likely to decline. Reports on salary negotiations have not showed signs of faster wage growth so far. We see January average earnings ex-bonuses to have edged up only slightly to 3.8% (December: +3.7%).

Japan revised Jan industrial output down 1.7 pct from Dec (AFX News)
Industrial output in January fell a seasonally adjusted 1.7 pct from December, deeper than the initial estimate of a 1.5 pct drop, according to revised data from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
