Daily Forex Outlook - U.S. Dollar Trading strengthened against all other majors except then Yen during Monday by Easy Forex
The Japanese Yen (JPY) continued to strengthen against the Dollar and Euro as investors continued to unwind carry trades. Overall, the JPY traded within a low of 115.16 and a high of 116.78 before closing the day at 115.83.

The expenditure breakdown of EMU Q4-06 GDP should depict a healthy scenario, with strong fixed investment (we expect 1.4% q-o-q, from the previous 0.6%) and external sector, with exports estimated at 4.0% q-o-q. These positive news will more than compensate for the slight slowdown in household consumption (0.5% q-o-q our bet), and the negative contribution from inventories.

Swiss Q4 GDP grows slower than expected (AFX News)
Switzerland's fourth quarter GDP grew a real or inflation-adjusted 0.5 pct from the third quarter and increased 2.2 pct year-on-year, the Swiss state secretariat for economic affairs (SECO) said.
