The still robust parameters suggest that the expectations component will remain strong. Overall, the business climate should decline further.

French Jan household consumption up 1.2 pct from Dec amid expectations of drop by AFX News
French household consumption of manufactured goods in January unexpectedly rose strongly from December, confounding economists' predictions of a slight drop, statistics office Insee reported. The month-on-month rise in January was, against expectations of a decline of 0.1 pct.
