Fed Interest Rate decision Review
CMS Forex − What to look for coming up is whether better data from the US, like the non−farm payroll release, will have more impact on greenback strength or will it just bolster the case that the global recovery is happening and that traders should sell the dollar and go for higher−yielders. Since setting highs for this year, the Euro and Pound have eased off those highs. If we see a continuation of this short−term greenback strength or if we go and retest those highs will play out over the rest of this week and next.

The Dollar is highly volatile in the last hour. Greenback is now at the same levels it had before the FED's decision. EUR/USD is back above 1.4200 and near intra−day high.

Preview of EU Q2 GDP: potential volatility in EUR by Easy Forex
EU advance Q2 GDP will be released on Thursday, August 13th. The GDP report has the potential to spark volatility in EUR trade because the data is an important gauge of the strength of the EU economy and may impact ECB policy outlook. The trade expects EU Q2 GDP to show that the pace of contraction in the EU economy has slowed. The report is looked to for clues to whether the EU economy is nearing a bottom. EU Q2 GDP is expected to contract for the fifth straight quarter by 0.5% compared to 2.5% decline in Q1. EU annual GDP contracted by a record 4.9% in Q1.

The Federal Reserve decided after a two day meeting to leave interest rate unchanged at 0−0.25%. The asset purchase program will continue but the FED will "gradually slow the pace of these transactions".
