Current Session: U.S.

U.S. Update: Safe havens win the week

FXstreet.com Independent Analyst Team − Both dollar and yen are closing the week to the upside, with yen even stronger than greenback. Both currencies against dollar remain stuck in ranges but close to the base of such ranges, and upside weakness had been more than clear all week long. Friday Notes - We expect headline inflation to ease further to 1.8% for June by UniCredit Group

We expect headline inflation to ease further to 1.8% for June. The disinflation process is widespread. Core inflation should have eased to 1.5% from the previous 1.6%; and another downward contribution should come from non−core components, as fuel and food prices, though rising month−over−month, will benefit from a favorable base effect.
