Technical Summary for Majors − Extending reversal from 108.42 by Windsor Brokers Ltd
Extending reversal from 108.42, 25 Jun high, just under 108.58, 16 Jun peak, to take out 107.13/11, 20/23 Jun pivot lows. This now signals short−term top in place, ahead of further retrace of upleg from 102.57 12 May low, with break below 106.56 (11 Jun low, also trendline support, risking 105.58, 50% retracement of 102.57/108.58 advance. 107.21, today's high, caps for now.

Friday Notes - EMU CPI: Further acceleration ahead by HVB Group
We see inflation accelerating further to 3.9% y−o−y in June. Upward pressure should still come from energy, as oil prices remain on a steadily rising trend. Strong non−core components will prevent any relief in headline inflation in the near term.

DATA SNAP: US Consumers Spend Stimulus Payments In May (Dow Jones)
Consumer spending surged in May, fed by mounting inflation and the round of income−tax rebates unleashed to brace a soft economy. Personal consumption increased by 0.8% compared to the month before, the Commerce Department said Friday.
