Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − Dollar Weakens Again after Poor Housing & Confidence by ActionForex.com
While nearer term recovery off the 1.5302 (Jun 13'08 low) remains in force, as long as those upside gains are limited to the 1.5842 level, its Jun 09'08 high, lower prices are expected. the 1.5510 level, its April 03'08 low will then be seen as the next downside target followed by the 1.5360/64 level, its .382 Fib Ret/ Jun 05'08 low. A break through there will extend more losses towards its May 08'08 low at 1.5283 and later its .50 Ret (1.4309−1.6018 high) at 1.5164.

EMU economic indicators - We expect German consumer prices to have increased by BHF−Bank
We expect German consumer prices to have increased by 0.2% mom and 3.2% yoy. The monthly inflation will have been mainly due to further price increases for gasoline and heating oil. These products are likely to have pushed inflation up by about 0.2 percentage points.

U.S. consumer confidence falls in June to 50.4 vs 56.5 expected (Thomson Financial News)
U.S. consumer confidence fell for the sixth consecutive month in June, a key indicator of the economy showed. The New York−based Conference Board said its Consumer Confidence Index fell to 50.4 in June from an upwardly revised 58.1 in May. This month's Consumer Confidence Index registered the fifth−lowest reading on record.

Germany's GfK sees July consumer climate index at 3.9 points vs 4.7 in June (Thomson Financial News)
The GfK market research institute said its consumer climate index for Germany is forecast to be at 3.9 points in July compared with 4.7 points in June. The figure missed the 4.6 point consensus forecast by economists in a Thomson Financial News poll.
