USD/CAD

Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − Canadian Dollar Weakens, Ignoring Solid Retail Sales by ActionForex.com

USD/CAD rebounds strongly after spiking lower to 1.0100 in early US session. An intraday low should be in place at 1.0100. Outlook is turned neutral for the moment. Above 1.0210 minor resistance will argue that correction from 1.0322 has completed already and will bring stronger rally to 1.0298 resistance.

Friday Notes - EMU PMI: Settling below trend by HVB Group

We expect the manufacturing PMI to decelerate further in June, mostly due to skyrocketing oil prices and the ongoing softening in global and domestic demand. After having declined more than expected in May, services PMI should rebound moderately in June, though hovering still well below its long−term average.
