1,5829. EUR USD is in a range between 1,5730 and 1,5900. EUR USD moves without trend and swings around exponential moving averages (EMA 50 and 100). The volatility is high. ForexTrend daily, 4H (Mataf Trend Indicator) is in a bullish configuration. 1H ForexSto (Modified Stochastic) indicate a bullish pressure on EUR USD. The price should continue to move in Bollinger bands. We won't take a position. The risk/reward ratio is too high to take a position.

Friday Notes - Recession fears spreading to Europe by HVB Group
After the nice January rebound, EMU industrial production should have remained virtually flat in February. Unless the index posts a significant correction in March, industrial output should accelerate moderately in Q1 2008, compensating for the deceleration recorded in the final quarter of 2007.

Reuters/Univ Michigan Mid−April Sentiment 63.2, 26−Yr Low (Dow Jones)
Consumer confidence levels plunged as of the middle of April to a 26−year low, with both the one− and five year inflation outlooks also deteriorating. The Reuters/University of Michigan consumer sentiment survey for the middle of April saw the overall index decrease to 63.2, from 69.5 in March.

US Import Prices Ex−Oil Make Biggest Climb On Record (Dow Jones)
Import prices surged in March, lifted by not only oil but also the biggest jump in non−petroleum costs on record, a worrisome sign for inflation. Overall import prices rose 2.8% last month, after increasing an unrevised 0.2% in February, the Labor Department said Friday.
