Cable's sharp fall today suggests that corrective rise from 1.9481 has completed at 1.9789. At this point, intraday bias is on the downside for a retest of 1.9481 low and break will indicate that recent down trend from 2.1161 has resumed. Also as discussed before, sustained break of 1.9554 cluster support zone will encourage further fall to 1.9 psychological support first.

DATA SNAP: UK Dec Retail Sales Show Surprise 0.4% Decline (Dow Jones)
The volume of U.K. retail sales fell unexpectedly in the crucial month of December, sliding 0.4% on the month despite retailers again cutting prices, the Office for National Statistics said Friday.
