Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − Dollar Extends Weakness after Disappointing Durable Goods by ActionForex.com
Dollar's selloff resumes in early US session after another month of disappointing durable goods orders report. Headline durable orders rose a mere 0.1% in the month of November, much weaker than expectation of 2.0% rise. Ex−transport orders was even worse by falling −0.7% comparing to expectation of 0.3%. On the other hand, jobless claims rose slightly to 349k, above consensus of 342k.

US Consumer Confidence Index posts better than expected in December (FXstreet.com)
The index of consumer confidence rose to the level of 88.6 points in December from the revised 87.8 points registered in November, according to the latest report by the Conference Board.
