Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − BoE Cut Rates, ECB on Hold by ActionForex.com

GBP−USD had a sharp fall yesterday as there has been a sharp increase in probability of a BOE rate cut later today. If that cut is actually seen (of 25 basis points), then a small bounce could be seen. However, a 50 basis points cut is likely to lead to fresh fall in GBP. On the other hand, a no cut would be longer−term bearish implication for GBP, as the economy could be greatly vulnerable then.
