Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − Japanese Yen Rebounds Strongly as Stock Markets Tumble by ActionForex.com
Cable broke decisively through the resistance formed by the July 24th high at 2.0650 and even got above 2.0800 after the FOMC rate cut yesterday but is now trading just a few points lower. The pair's bullish bias prevails and a lot of traders in the market start looking at 2.1000 as the next major long target.

Friday Notes - Fed: The first cut was the deepest by HVB Group
The spurt in weekly jobless claims took place during the survey week for the October employment report. Thus, we expect smaller net job creation than in prior months. The unemployment rate should be little changed, however. Average hourly earnings probably increased a moderate 0.3%, as in most recent months.

US ISM posts weak expansion of manufacturing activity in October (FXstreet.com)
Manufacturing activity continued expanding in the United States during the month of October for the ninth consecutive month, although at the slowest pace since last March, with new orders and prices paid increasing and production index falling into contraction for the first time since January.

Personal income of American citizens has continued increasing at a steady pace in September, while their spending has grown at a slower pace than in August, according to the latest report by the Commerce Department.
