U.S. consumer sentiment weakened as of the end of October. The Reuters/University of Michigan final October consumer sentiment index Friday fell to 80.9 from 83.4 in September's final estimate. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires had expected the end of month index to stand at 82.0.
