Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − Dollar Higher in a Quiet Day by ActionForex.com

Dollar is mildly higher in a relatively quiet day . Markets continues to cut back the expectation of aggressive rate cut from Fed after last Friday's solid NFP report. On the other hand, Euro hesitates to to extend Friday's late rebound after weaker than expected German data and with markets still unsure on rate expectation after less hawkish than expected ECB press conference last week. With a market holiday in the US, trading will likely continue to be light. Focus will indeed turn to tomorrow's FOMC minutes and retail sales on Friday.
