Mid−Day Forex Technical Report − Dollar Steady after ADP Employment, Yen Weakens Broadly by ActionForex.com

USD/JPY strengthens today with a break above inner falling trend line as well ass 116.36 resistance. The whole corrective from that started from 111.59 could have resumed. At this point, intraday bias will stay on the upside as long as 115.54 support.

Friday Notes - Ailing USD hurts sentiment by HVB Group

The BoE is likely to leave the repo rate on hold. The September minutes, as well as several remarks from MPC members, showed that the BoE, though it has definitely dropped its tightening bias, still sees the impact of the ongoing financial crisis on the economy as unclear. However, the fact that, earlier this week, the BoE Credit Conditions Survey showed that credit supply to companies will be significantly reduced in Q4 increases the chances that BoE could be forced to cut rates.

Non farm employment has increased in 58,000 new payrolls from August to September according to the ADP National Employment Report, while August's figures have been revised down to 27,000 from the initial 38,000.
