Mid-Day Forex Technical Report - Sterling Lower on Rate Speculations, Dollar Remains Pressured by ActionForex.com
Cable failed to sustain earlier gains and reverses by falling sharply to as low as 2.0287. Break of 2.0338 minor support left the rebound from 2.0182 with a corrective 3 wave nature to 2.0460, suggesting that correction from 2.0652 is still in progress. Further decline is now is favor to retest 2.0182 low and possibly further towards 2.0056 support before completing the correction.

Friday Notes - Weathering the storm by HVB Group
The UniCredit-Reuters tool points to a 0.7% decline m-om in industrial production. After the volatile preceding months, which were influenced – in some cases strongly – by problems with the seasonal and calendar adjustment, the annualized rate is settling at roughly 4%. The still high order cushion argues against a further cooling of the production dynamic in the coming months.

German factory orders soar in June (FXstreet.com)
Factory orders have grown larger than expected in June lead by a sharp advance on international big ticket orders, as the latest data by the German Economics Ministry shows.
