Mid-Day Forex Technical Report - Strong NY State Index Provides No Support to Dollar by ActionForex.com
Cable's recent rally resumes today by surging to new 26 years high at 2.0403. At this point, further rally should be seen as long as cable stays above 2.0307 minor support. Sustained trading above trend line resistance (now at 2.0380) will encourage further rally towards next upside target of 100% projection of 1.9183 to 2.0132 from 1.9621 at 2.0570.

Friday Notes - "Suberprimemania" refuses to go away by HVB Group
After a marked decline in May, we expect consumer price inflation to have eased further to 2.3%. The biggest relief should have come from housing costs, while transport prices should have increased substantially – due to higher oil prices. Core inflation is likely to have declined to 1.8% in June.

NY Fed's Jul Mfg Index 26.46 Vs 25.75 In Jun (Dow Jones)
Manufacturing activity in the New York Federal Reserve district increased further in July with the overall index increasing to a reading of 26.46 from an unrevised 25.75 in June. Among the economists who forecast this index, the median expectation of 12 economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires was for a reading of 17.75.
